National Deadline: January 27, 2015 - What is the self? How does one feel it's absence or presence? Black Earth Gallery invites art submissions for an exhibition that explore issues surrounding "Containers for the Self." Exhibit on display March 5-28, 2015.

One might create an actual physical container or a metaphorical container, the 2-D plans for a 'container' or any other possible manifestation of this theme. Both 2D and 3D submissions are encouraged.

Judging this exhibit is Jane Gilmor, intermedia artist and Emerita Professor of Art at Mount Mercy University
