Emerging Artists 2015

International Deadline: December 13, 2014 - SlowArt Productions presents Emerging Artists 2015, the 23rd annual competition for group exhibition and awards. Open to all national and international artists working in any media, this event is devoted to the discovery, introduction and promotion of emerging artists.

The exhibition will be held March 4-24, 2015 at NY's Limner Gallery.

ELIGIBILITY AND RESTRICTIONS
All forms of painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, graphics, digital and installation art, video, etc. are eligible. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Wall mounted works must not be taller than 96" no wider than 120". Sculptural work must fit through a standard height, 36"wide entry door.

EXHIBITION AND AWARDS
Winning artists will be featured in a group exhibition at the Limner Gallery, March 4 - 28, 2015. The exhibition will also be displayed on the Limner Gallery web site. There will be a three solo exhibition awards. One artist will be featured in a solo exhibit in the front main gallery. A second artist will be featured in the second middle gallery. A third artist will exhibit in the third rear gallery. Solo exhibits will be held at Limner Gallery in June of 2015. One artist will be awarded a two page display in Direct Art Volume #22, Fall 2015 issue. Two artists will be awarded a single page display. Direct Art is published annually and distributed internationally in online and in print formats.

EXHIBITION TERMS
All works in the show must be for sale. The gallery will take a 35 percent commission on all sales. Sale price is determined by the artist.

ENTRY FEES
There is a $35.00 entry fee for one to four artworks entered, presentation is by digital files and/or prints. There is a $5.00 fee for each additional artwork above four. Details of 2D artwork count as an additional artwork. Sculptors may provide one additional view per artwork without cost.

Artists accepted to exhibit will not be charged additional fees of any kind. Payments may be by check or money order payable to SlowArt Productions, or by credit card using PayPal [see Apply-on-Line].

IMAGE SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
All entries are via email or by mail.

Email submissions must be in JPG format, or...
Submission by mail is by prints, digital images on CD or DVD.
