Hi, I think you are beginning to "see." I think they are all interesting but not striking. Each needs a better use of a full range of values. Read about the Zone system developed by Minor White with technical expertise and exploration supplied by Ansel Adams. Minor White worked very hard to make abstract images of common subjects. The dynamics of light values is essential to successful photographic images.
