I came across the image Ice Crystals today, and at first impression thought I was viewing a solarized or digitally enhanced photograph.  The gorgeous delicacy of the crackled white lines creates a surprising visual distinction from the darker background.  I also like the squared off format of the piece.  The proportions throw the symmetry off a bit so that the two main veins run vertically through the left-center of the composition.  The feathery ice crystals along the edges further enhance the impression the forms are organically growing, as in a botanical specimen such as a fern frond.  The heavier “stems” of frozen drips supports this illusion. For me, the beauty partially lies in the ephemeral and fragile nature of the design.  I find it interesting this work captures a fleeting phenomenon, whereas some of your other images I’ve admired appear to celebrate stillness of unchanging structures.
