Laurel,

Most, if not all of my work, is landscape oriented. And living now in Arizona it reflects much of the structure and colors of the southwest. I am exploring the southwest landscape but within a different perspective. "Six" reflects both the colors and the architecture of an older time (hence the facade plane on "side" 5). I wanted to break it up a bit and to give the eye small landscapes to explore. The title is a bit of a wink, as the sides are numbered  from one to five with the sixth hidden as a nod to mystery and ambiguity that all art should hold.
