New York, NY - Apex Art Franchise Program 2012-13 Results

Apex Art announces the winners of it's 2012-13 Franchise Program. We received 182 eligible proposals from over 50 countries, which were voted on by an international panel of 100 jurors. Members of the jury were asked to read 50 anonymous proposals and nearly 3,200 votes were cast to determine the winning submissions.

We have expanded our program by introducing a domestic exhibition opportunity. apexart will now present not only the two top-scoring proposals for projects outside of the United States, but also the top-scoring proposal for a project in the United States not in the NYC metro area.

Carlos Leon-Xjimenez 's proposal Lima Rooftop Ecology, for Lima, Peru, received the highest score; Marisa Jahn and Paul Falzone's proposal Video Slink Uganda, for Kampala, Uganda, received the second highest score; and Tom McGlynn and Bill Doherty's proposal Memphis Social, for Memphis, Tennessee, was the top scoring domestic submission.
