I am experimenting with printing my "White" series of photos on silk. Any suggestions?

Hi Darlene,

Maybe you already are familiar with Kathy Anne-White, she is a fabric artist that does a lot of work printing on fabrics and promotes InkAid. Here is a link if you are interested:

For my work I use the applications Painter and Studio Artist, both are good for creating digital art.

Let me know if you get the results you are looking for on the silk; I am very interested.

Thanks so much for your suggestions, Scott. Yes, I'm printing digitally and have tried InkAid already. I've not heard of Digital Grounds so I'll give it a go. I do like the results with InkAid except it makes the silk stiff and I hope to retain more of the softness of the silk although the prints look fabulous.

I'm very curious about your work as I thought it was painting and/or collage but now see it's a digital painting. What application do you use.

Are you printing with an inkjet printer? If you are, try using InkAid or Digital Grounds made by Golden--I'm sure the prints will look great!
