DESCRIPTION:International Deadline: October 3, 2014 - Highly regarded 
 Torpedo Factory Art Center/Target Gallery presents '5x5(x5)'. Back by 
 popular demand, this small works show is a juried exhibition that invi
 tes artists to submit work that cannot exceed 5\" in any directions. T
 his is an all media exhibit open to all artists nationally and interna
 tionally.  JUROR Kayleigh Bryant is a local arts writer, curator, and 
 arts administrator. She works with and mentors emerging artists in res
 idence as they begin their careers at Strathmore in North Bethesda, Ma
 ryland. Ms. Bryant earned her B.A. in Art History from the University 
 of Maryland, College Park and her M.A. in Museum Studies from the Geor
 ge Washington University. She is part of the FLEX curatorial initiativ
 e in DC. She has written numerous articles on local art and artists fo
 r CBS Local DC Online, Examiner.com, and others. Mrs. Bryant serves on
  the Steering Committees of Emerging Arts Leaders DC and Emerging Arts
  Advocates in Baltimore, Maryland, as well as the Young Patrons Societ
 y of the Torpedo Arts Factory in Alexandria, Virginia. She often partn
 ers with the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities to review artist
  grant applications as a guest panelist. Her first curated exhibit \"P
 lay by Play\" at Project 4 gallery in January 2014 received great re
 views. Since then Ms. Bryant has curated additional exhibitions with S
 trathmore, with more expected in DC and NYC. Her expertise is grounded
  in professional efforts gained from The Walters Art Museum, The Smith
 sonian Institution, and The David C. Driskell Center, and ArtSee art c
 onsultancy.  LIMITATIONS Work must not exceed 5” in any direction. F
 inal measurements must be inclusive of frame, if applicable. Weight ma
 y not exceed 50 pounds. All entries must have been conceived and creat
 ed by the artist submitting the work and must have been created within
  the last 5 years. All work selected must be ready for exhibit: 2D wor
 k must be framed with secure hanging devices; 3D work must be suitably
