International Deadline: May 8, 2015 – ARC Gallery announces an open call for artists worldwide to submit entries for “The Base Line: An Exhibition of Drawing’.
Drawing is first and most basic fundamental skill an artist learns. It is a medium steeped in tradition and transcendent of those traditions. It is a skill that has moved beyond the pencil and paper yet no matter what, it is still the first and most central element of all two dimensional art works. This exhibition is an exploration and celebration of drawing.
ELIGIBILITY
Open to all artists, nationwide and international. All drawing mediums and materials are eligible. All subject matter from landscape to abstraction is eligible. Two dimensional mixed media works will be considered as long as drawing is one of the main artistic components of the work. No photography, video, digital works or new media is eligible. No digital elements are allowed.
JUROR: Aron Packer
FEES
$40 for one to three images. $10 for each additional image
