DESCRIPTION:International Deadline: October 17, 2025 – Art Scene We
 st invites artists worldwide to submit work for Modern Media, a curate
 d exhibition celebrating innovative and non-traditional approaches in 
 bringing their visions to life. As society evolves, so do the ways art
 ists express themselves. We want to showcase that bold, experimental, 
 and diverse approach that reflects today’s creative spirit.\r\nIf yo
 u create with acrylic, spray paint, collage, digital art, resin, wood,
  mixed media, photography, glass, fiber, or other non-traditional meth
 ods, this call is for you.\r\nExhibition Dates: November 10, 2025 – 
 January 4, 2026 (55 days) @ Art Scene West, 803 W Harbor Drive, suite 
 E1-E, San Diego 92101.\r\nELIGIBILITY CRITERIAOpen to artists 18+ worl
 dwide. All submissions must be original works created by the artist an
 d available for sale. Artwork containing nudity, profanity, or vulgari
 ty will not be accepted.\r\nFEESThere is a $35 Submission Fee to thoro
 ughly review the artist’s work and biography. For artists who are se
 lected into the exhibition, there is a low participation fee… see d
 etails.\r\nAPPLY ONLINEArtists may enter up to 4 works, or a total of 
 4 images, per submission. Each entry is juried individually. Multiple 
 submissions are allowed.\r\nArtworks are juried according to their ori
 ginality, overall quality, and relevance to the exhibition theme, as d
 etermined by submitted images, compared to all other submissions.\r\nN
 otification of Acceptance: between October 18th – 20th.\r\nSALESArt 
 Scene West will remit 60% of the sales commission to the artist and wi
 thhold 40% for gallery expenses.\r\nTIMELINE\r\n\r\nSubmission Deadlin
 e: October 17th, 2025\r\nNotification of Acceptance: between October 1
 8th – 20th.\r\nArtwork Deliver: no later than November 9th (within 1
 8 days of notification.)\r\nOpening Reception: November 15th, 2025 at 
 Art Scene West Gallery.\r\n\r\n\r\nAbout:Now under new ownership, Art 
 Scene West first launched in February 2020 as a contemporary art galle
 ry on South Cedros St in Solana Beach Ca, which it held until the end 
 of 2022. It now operates from a gallery space in Seaport Village, down
 town San Diego, which opened July 4th, 2024. Art Scene West continues 
 focusing on discovering talented artists through world-wide art calls 
 and exhibiting them in their physical and online gallery spaces. Since
  opening in Seaport Village, Art Scene West has evolved to offer not o
 nly high-quality fine art, but affordable gifts and regular guided-pai
