About the Event
Guests enjoy an afternoon sampling fine wines and gourmet foods on the beautiful grounds of the historic Camarillo Ranch. Live entertainment, a silent auction, boutique shopping & a cash opportunity drawing enhance the afternoon while guests visit with winemakers and local chefs in the shade of 100 year old trees.
This year “The British Are Coming” and the 2014 sponsors and VIP ticket holders will experience a British themed décor in our Lark Lounge, enjoying exclusive wines and food samplings, plus activities and early entrance into the event. Britain’s Finest will entertain with costume changes, many familiar songs, plus #1 hits of the Beatles era. The Beak and Barrel Pub will transport guests who enjoy a cold, craft beer into the side streets of merry ole England. The games gallery will entice many into a round of miniature golf ‘British Open style’ or a set of ping pong tennis ‘Wimbledon style’. Food aficionados will be captivated by food demonstrations throughout the afternoon. And, a TOC poster contest beginning in January 2014 will search wide and far for the artist who best depicts the jovial atmosphere and spirit of “The British are Coming” to Camarillo. This has become a ‘not to be missed’ event.
