 sent. CaRt26 | Contemporary Art in Realism invites artists worldwide t
 o submit works showcasing masterful realism with fresh relevance—pho
 torealist precision, figurative storytelling, innovative everyday pers
 pectives, or thoughtful modern narratives.\r\nIn the mid-20th century,
  Abstract Expressionism dominated, prioritizing abstraction, emotion, 
 and gesture over literal representation. Yet in the 1960s, Contemporar
 y Realism emerged as a powerful counterpoint, reclaiming the observabl
 e world with clarity and technical sophistication.\r\nExhibit Date: Ju
 ne 19 – July 31, 2026.\r\nELIGIBILITYThe CaRt26 | Contemporary Art i
 n Realism competition is open to artists worldwide aged 18+ (at time o
 f entry) submitting original works created on or after April 2021 (any
  work completed before then will be disqualified).\r\n\r\nThe theme of
  this exhibition is contemporary realism. We seek masterful representa
 tional works that capture the essence of the observable world with fre
 sh relevance—whether through portraits, figures, still lifes, interi
 ors, landscapes, or other everyday subjects infused with a modern, obj
 ective sensibility.\r\nMedia: Traditional only—Painting, Drawing, Sc
 ulpture, Printmaking (drawing-based). No digital art, photography, AI-
 generated elements, or reproductions.\r\nArtworks must be have been cr
 eated in the past 5 years; any artworks completed before April, 2021 w
 ill be disqualified.\r\nNo size restrictions, provided the work fits t
 hrough a 6ft x 7ft doorway for installation/shipping.\r\nAll artwork m
 ust be original, independently created, and not produced under instruc
 tor direction (e.g., workshops/classes).\r\n\r\n\r\nAWARDS & BENEFITS$
