 pture Garden & Arts Center invites emerging and established artists to
  submit original artworks to ‘Chronicles: Storytelling Through Image
 ry.’\r\nSince the dawn of human existence, people have been using vi
 sual art to communicate stories. From the cave paintings of Lascaux to
  intricate hieroglyphs of ancient Egypt, art has been a fundamental wa
 y for people to document their experiences, beliefs, and feelings. Chr
 onicles: Storytelling Through Imagery will explore the power of visual
  narratives by bringing together artworks that weave compelling storie
 s using symbolism, composition, and emotion. These works will highligh
 t how contemporary artists engage in this age-old tradition by capturi
 ng moments, myths, and their personal histories in striking and imagin
 ative ways.\r\nThis exhibition will be open to the public in the Kay D
 augherty Gallery of Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center, from Octo
 ber 10, 2025, to January 18, 2026. There will be an Annmarie After Hou
 rs opening reception for the exhibition on October 10, 2025 from 5 pm-
 7 pm.\r\nELIGIBILITYThis exhibition is open to all materials and mediu
 ms. 2-D and 3-D artwork will be considered for this exhibition. Indoor
  and outdoor installations will be considered. All work must be comple
 ted within the last four years. Artists must be 18 years or older. Art
 ists must be living and working in the United States or Canada.\r\nENT
 RY FEEOur exhibit application will allow you to submit up to 4 works f
 or a $25.00 non-refundable fee.\r\nAPPLY ONLINE\r\nSALESAnnmarie Sculp
 ture Garden & Arts Center takes a 40% commission on all gallery sales.
 \r\n\r\nAbout:An affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, Annmarie is
  a thirty-acre sculpture garden and arts center located in scenic Solo
 mons, Maryland, on the Chesapeake Bay. The sculpture garden features a
  walking path that meanders through the forest, past permanent and loa
 ned sculpture, including more than forty works on loan from the Smiths
 onian Institution and the National Gallery of Art.\r\nThe garden also 
 presents a variety of special events, gallery shows, and engaging publ
 ic art programs throughout the year. The Studio School offers creative
  classes taught by a talented faculty. The award-winning Arts Building
  is a 15,000 sq.ft. museum-grade exhibition space that includes two la
