 rt (CoSo) is seeking submissions for the upcoming national juried exhi
 bition celebrating the urban landscape GRIT. Juried by Paul Ha, Direct
 or of MIT’s List Visual Arts Center, GRIT unveils the raw fabric of 
 the cityscape, delving into the interconnected nature of postmillennia
 l life at its most fundamental level. Here, at the foundation of socie
 ty, structure and chaos meld into one. GRIT is the examination of this
  intrinsic platform of the urban landscape.JURORPaul Ha is currently t
 he Director of the List Visual Arts Center, the contemporary art museu
 m at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Known for presenting exper
 imental and timely exhibitions, the List also oversees the active MIT'
 s Percent-for-Art program, which has created one of the outstanding na
 tional collections of public art.ELIGIBILITYThis call for submission i
 s open to all residents of the U.S. and its Territories, 18 years of a
 ge or older.\nThis is a juried exhibition for artists working in all t
 raditional and non-traditional 2D and 3D media, including film/video w
 hen part of an installation. All artwork must be original in concept, 
 design and execution.\nNote: Crafts, kit work or reproductions of orig
 inal works in other media (such as giclee print of oil painting), unle
