DESCRIPTION:International Deadline: December 8, 2014 – Black Box Gal
 lery will host a juried group photography show on nature and landscape
  photography. We will be looking for a wide range of photography that 
 focuses on the natural elements of landscapes, wildlife, plants, and c
 lose-ups of natural scenes and textures. This show will be looking at 
 the aesthetic values of craftsmanship and technique and quality of lig
 ht and visual composition within the genre of landscape and nature pho
 tography such as trees, steams, birds and animals, flowers and plants,
  oceans, mountains, waterfalls, sunrise/sunsets, fall foliage, insects
  and spiders, gardens and parks. Show us your stories and experiences 
 of the natural world through your pictures.ELIGIBILITYThe exhibition i
 s open to all photographers worldwide, both amateur and professional.J
 UROR: Christopher O’DonnellChristopher O’Donnell is an award-winni
 ng landscape photographer and educator. He has authored numerous e-boo
 ks on photography and is an active contributor to many photography blo
 gs and journals. His impressive and mesmerizing work in landscape and 
 nature photography has inspired many photographers with his commitment
  to beauty, emotion, and serenity.EXHIBITIONEach exhibition will have 
 24 photographs included by the juror for exhibition at the gallery.An 
 additional 30 photographs will be selected for exhibition in our on-li
 ne gallery annex.All 54 photographs from the show will be included in 
 a catalog available for purchase on Blurb Books.RULES/GUIDELINESBlack 
 Box provides free printing, matting and framing for all of our exhibit
 ions. The photographers who are selected into the exhibition by the ju
 ror will provide a high resolution Tiff or JPEG file for our gallery t
 o print.We have 18\" x 24\" black frames. Our white mats are pre cut f
 or 12\" x 18\", 12\" x 12\" and 12\" x 16\" prints (we also have a few
  other odd sized matts). We print on an Epson Stylus Pro archival ink 
 jet printer, on Epson Premium Luster Photo paper, in a color-calibrate
 d environment. This is a very accurate custom print, just like a custo
 m lab would print, we have over 20 years of custom printing experience
 .All exhibition prints will be kept in a flat file after the show for 
 future sale and promotion for the photographer. This will allow the ga
 llery to further promote our photographers and exhibitions to collecto
 rs, curators, critics and to the general public.ENTRY FEE$35 per entry
  (an entry includes up to 5 photos). SALESBlack Box Gallery takes a 50
 % commission on all sales, 50% goes to the photographer.\nHOW TO APPLY
