About Gallery 7
Gallery was founded in 1983, by M & M Kanakakis. Situated in the heart of Athens's art district Kolonaki, on Solonos st, one of the most busiest and lively areas. The Gallery has held many exhibitions with extremely well known Greek and international artists. In the beginning of the 21st century where art has an open character, we choose to support in the same way, both traditional painting as well as photography and video art, trying to pinpoint the quality and agony of new artistic means and methods of expression.

With the same mindset, the new generations of artists coexist. At Gallery 7 we say YES, to mature artists with a fresh perspective, we say YES to newcomers who don't copy old concepts.

In the 3rd decade of Gallery 7, we want our pluralism to become even stronger, while we are still pursuing the possibility of collaborations and expansion abroad.
