DESCRIPTION:U.S. National Deadline: September 16, 2025 – The Guggen
 heim Foundation offers Fellowships to exceptional individuals in pursu
 it of scholarship in any field of knowledge and creation in any art fo
 rm under the freest possible conditions. From the beginning, we have a
 warded our Fellowships based on merit alone, promising in our founding
  charter to “[aid] without distinction on account of race, color or 
 creed, scholars, scientists and artists of either sex in the prosecuti
 on of their labors.”\r\nThe Guggenheim Fellowship is an annual compe
 tition celebrating exceptional achievements in the arts, sciences, and
  humanities. Roughly 190 Fellowships are awarded each year.\r\nELIGIBI
 LITY\r\n\r\nAll applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of 
 the U.S. or Canada at the time of application.\r\nIndividuals who have
  already received a Guggenheim Fellowship are not eligible to reapply.
 \r\nGuggenheim Fellowships are not open to students (undergraduate, gr
 aduate, or postgraduate).\r\n\r\nOur awards are intended for individua
 ls only; they are not available to organizations, institutions, or gro
 ups.\r\nBENEFITSThe award funds can generally be used for any purpose 
 related to the pursuit of the Fellow’s project – living expenses, 
 materials, travel, equipment, etc.\r\nGuggenheim Fellowships are not a
 vailable for the creation of residencies, curriculum development, or a
 ny type of educational program, nor are they available to support the
