 Manifest Creative Research Gallery announces 'Neither HERE nor THERE..
 .\", a competitive international exhibition exploring location, humili
 ty, and the in-between through photography and other lens-based work.\
 nFirst, this is not a landscape exhibit! Although works of landscape a
 re also eligible. Works selected will represent location by virtue of 
 their creation in a particular place, regardless of subject matter. Th
 ey may or may not also represent ordinary everyday things, events, pla
 ces, ideas, or such subjects in a transitional context.\nThis exhibit 
 has no predefined expectation for type or style of work to be consider
 ed or selected. Submissions can range from the most traditional to the
  most conceptual, abstract, or experimental, including traditional, di
 gital, and other photographic methods. The only criteria beyond excell
 ent quality (image/presentation) is that works must qualify as being p
 rimarily photographic, including that which tests the boundaries of th
 e discipline.\nELIGIBILITY Neither HERE nor THERE open to everyone. Th
 e only limitation beyond the general theme is that entries must repres
 ent original works which qualify in some considerable way as photograp
 hy or lens-based art.\nMEDIA Open to any and all traditional and non-t
 raditional visual arts media applicable to the practice and discipline
  of photography.\nManifest's carefully assembled juries change from pr
 oject to project, and as a body have no collective predisposition towa
 rds any particular kind or style of art.\nABOUT Over its ten seasons o
 f non-profit programming Manifest's competitive projects have attracte
 d submissions by artists from 89 countries and all 50 U.S. states. In 
 honor of this global vitality focused from there to here (from the wor
 ld to our humble spot in Cincinnati, Ohio) we offer Neither Here nor T
 here as an invitation for artists near and far to reveal aspects of lo
 cation in their photographic and lens-based works of visual art.\nThis
  exhibition is generously sponsored by a grant from FotoFocus and will
  be featured during the month-long Cincinnati region-wide FotoFocus bi
 ennial during the month of October.\nJURY & CURATOR Manifest's selecti
 on process involves a complex two-part system. This exhibit will be ju
 ried by an anonymous several-member panel of professional and academic
  advisors with a broad range of expertise relative to art and design.\
 nAWARD $1000 Best of Show Prize\nPUBLICATION Manifest Press will produ
 ce a high quality hard-cover publication documenting this exhibition, 
 artists, and works shown, along the other new season exhibitions.\nENT
 RY FEE $36 for up to three entries submitted. $10 per each additional
