DESCRIPTION:International Deadline: August 16, 2014 - The Brooklyn Wat
 erfront Artists Coalition (BWAC) invites artists from all over the wor
 ld to enter our juried competition that celebrates imagination and cre
 ativity utilizing emerging app’s, software, gadgets and technologies
  available on smart phones & smart devices.  ELIGIBILITY This call for
  submission is open to all creators working on smartphones and smart d
 evices. All work must be captured and edited on a smartphone or a smar
 t device. All artwork must be original in concept, design and executio
 n.\nNote: No image edited on a source other than a smartphone or smart
  device will be accepted.  SHOW DETAILS The Imagine This Show is an op
 portunity to explore the imagination and creativity through the emergi
 ng technologies used in smart phones and smart devices. These apps hav
 e opened up exciting new ways for creating extraordinary visions and i
 magery on devices that we carry around with us day and night.  JUDGING
  Final judging will be done electronically. Decision of the judges is 
 final.  AWARDS $1,500 in Cash Awards\n\nBest of Show Gold: $500\nBest 
 of Show Silver: $300\nBest of Show Bronze: $200\nBest Techniques Using
  Emerging Apps: $50 each\n\nAt the Opening Reception, the artist whose
  work is selected by our juror as ‘Best” in each of the following 
 Emerging Technology categories will receive a $50 cash prize:\n\nHipst
 amatic: Use of any combination of lens, films, multiple exposure in on
 e of the most popular mobile photography apps on the market. (no tweak
 ing with other apps).\nRealistic B&W: What if Ansel Adams or Irving Pe
 nn owned an iPhone, this is where classic photography and new technolo
 gy meet.\nRealistic Color: Really? You took that with a camera phone? 
 Be bold, be colorful but realism is the rule.\nGrunge: Filters and tex
 tures rule, from vintage to steampunk.\nToy Camera: Shots taken with a
 pps that remind us of cheap plastic lens cameras, who doesn’t love a
  good light leak. Apps include: Plastica, Pudding Cam, Retro Camera, L
 oMob, Classic Toy or any filter app that recreates the look.\nApp-tast
 ic: Using multiple apps to create your own artistic vision, from filte
 rs apps to blending apps to working with layers, just go for it. (4 ap
 p minimum)\nDigital Art: Oil Painting, Pastels, Pencil Sketching Carto
 ons, even Japanese Ink Block there’s an app for that including drawi
 ng apps like Sketchbook where you can let your imagination fly, no cam
 era required.\nHDR: Whether subtle or full blown HDR apps abound on th
 e mobile platform.\nPanoramas: Part of the iPhone native camera App, n
 ow there are many apps across all the mobile platforms to stitch great
  panoramas.\nOne Shot Wonder Apps: Apps that do ONE thing really well 
 like Tiny Planets, Pixel Twister, Water My Photo, Loom.\n\nAPPLY ONLIN
