 d Manifest Creative Research Gallery announces \"INDA 10\", a juried a
 nnual publication of works of recent contemporary drawing. The Interna
 tional Drawing Annual is open to any artist submitting original works 
 of art or design created within the past three years. Artists, designe
 rs, illustrators, professionals, and students in all disciplines are e
 ncouraged to submit.\nThe award-winning International Drawing Annual i
 s an extension and merging of Manifest's Drawing Center, Press, and Ga
 llery programs. Its goal is to support the recognition, documentation,
  and publication of excellent, current, and relevant works of drawing 
 of all kinds from around the world.\nAs this is a Book project, works 
 that are not otherwise available (i.e. physically) may still be submit
 ted for consideration. All that is required of accepted artists is a p
 rint-quality hi-res digital image of accepted works. All included arti
 sts receive a complimentary copy of the finished book.\nELIGIBILITYMan
 ifest is eager to receive works of drawing in a wide range of applicat
 ions (technical, graphic, fine art, design, architectural, digital, il
 lustration, etc.) with the qualification being that artwork submitted 
 is representative of high quality \"drawing.\nAWARDS & CASH PRIZESFirs
 t, Second, and Third Place awards for works will be decided by the jur
 y committee. Each award winner will have a brief artist's statement in
 cluded in the publication. There will be three cash prizes of $1200, $
 500, and $300 for first, second, and third place winners.\nMEDIAOpen t
 o any media applicable to the practice of drawing including but by no 
 means limited to traditional drawing media. Printmaking, digital/new m
 edia, photography, sculpture, painting, installation, etc., are all po
 ssibly valid.\nESSAYS and other drawing-related writingsManifest calls
  for scholarly, critical, and creative writing for publishing it each 
 of its three publication projects.\nJURY & CURATORManifest's selection
  process involves a complex two-part system. This exhibit will be juri
 ed by an anonymous several-member panel of professional and academic a
 dvisors with a broad range of expertise relative to art and design.\nP
 UBLICATIONEach artist/author selected for inclusion in the INDA will r
 eceive one complimentary copy of the publication. In 2011, the INDA 5 
 was awarded a national silver medal award from the Independent Publish
 ers Association in their New York City ceremony, in which other major 
 arts institutions such as the Whitney Museum and the Metropolitan Muse
 um of Art have competed. Manifest's books are distributed to bookstore
 s across the country, including museum bookstores, and are available t
 hrough Amazon.com as well as at Manifest Gallery and on the Manifest w
 ebsite. Arts patrons, artists, professors, and art students around the
  world collect our publications. The books are offered at an academic 
 discount to professors, students, and institutions of learning around
