DESCRIPTION:National Deadline: July 14, 2014 - The LH Horton Jr Galler
 y announces a call for entries for its juried exhibition, \"Art and So
 cial Change\". The Gallery exhibition will be held October 9 thru Nove
 mber 6, 2014, an on-line exhibition will be on display September 2014 
 thru June 2015.ELIGIBILITY\n\nEntry is open to all artists residing in
  the United States.\nArtists' working in 2D or 3D media, and presentin
 g works within the theme of art and social change. Works that focus on
  current social concerns (economic, gender, LGBT, race, education, env
 ironmental, etc.) that facilitates critical thinking and awareness of 
 the issue being addressed. While digital designs will be considered, i
 mages used must be the original creation of the artist. Photographic w
 orks are not eligible, however, photographers may enter the 2014 Photo
 graphy Exhibition at the same venue.\nWall pieces, 2D and 3D, may not 
 exceed 48” width and 72” in height. 3D floor works may not exceed

 al artist selection is made, accepted artists’ names and contact inf
 ormation is held confidential by the Gallery Director administering th
 e call for entries.ACCEPTED WORKSArt must be properly presented and pr
 epared for display. Wall pieces must include all hardware and be ready
  to install. Necessary assembly and mounting instructions and material
 s must be provided with artwork.\nAccepted artwork that differs signif
 icantly from the submitted image will be disqualified.SHIPPINGArtists 
 are responsible for all shipping and transit cost, including insurance
 , to and from the Gallery. The Gallery does not insure works in transi
 t.INSURANCEEvery reasonable precaution will be taken with the handling
  of Artwork. All Artwork to be shown at the LH Horton Jr Gallery will 
 be insured against fire, theft, and other hazards at the LH Horton Jr 
 Gallery while in the possession of the Gallery, from the time of recei

 :The LH Horton Jr Gallery is a non-profit art gallery located on the 
 campus of San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton, California. The Galle
 ry provides excellent exhibition opportunities, with over 2000 square
