In 201 1 the Museum assumed complete sponsorship of this annual exhibition. W e will continue to build on the excellent reputation of this long-esta blished exhibition and champion its success for many years to come.\nO n display Main Gallery January 17 – March 8, 2015 Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony: Saturday, January 17th, 2015 4 – 6 pm ELIGIBIL ITY Open to all artists world-wide age 17 and over. All artwork entere d must be the artist’s original creations completed within the last five years, and must not have been exhibited in past Monmouth Museum e xhibitions. AWARDS The Monmouth Museum will present 4 monetary Juror Awards and 4 Honorable Mention Awards at the Opening Reception. APPLY ONLINE Artwork will be considered in all media through online submiss ion of digital jpeg (300 dpi/ppi) images only, video/film is permitted through submission of a YouTube or Vimeo link. Submissions are limite d to a maximum of FOUR pieces.\nAcceptance into the exhibition is not guaranteed with entry. The Monmouth Museum reserves the right to rejec t work delivered at the time of the exhibition that is not the artistâ €™s accepted work, or does not meet the criteria set by the curator. ACCEPTANCE Announcement of Accepted Artists on Tuesday, December 23, 2 014 by 8:00 pm EST. A list of artists accepted into the exhibition wil l be posted on the Monmouth Museum website, Facebook and Twitter pages .\nSelected artwork must be wired, framed (if media applicable) and re ady to hang (no saw-tooth hangers). Painted, gallery-wrapped canvas is acceptable. Artworks must be no more than 7 feet in height or width w ith sculpture less than 10 feet in height or width and able to fit thr ough a standard door. Pedestals must be provided by all NJ artists for all three-dimensional entries (when appropriate). If accepted, approp riate equipment for video/film submissions must be provided by artist. Entered and accepted work cannot be substituted. All work must be ava ilable for the duration of the exhibition. SALE OF ARTWORK The Monmou th Museum encourages the sale of exhibited artwork. The Monmouth Museu m will collect the purchase price for all work, take a 20% sales commi ssion and issue a check for the remainder to the artist at the close o f the exhibition. MEDIA/PUBLIC RELATIONS RELEASE The Monmouth Museum reserves the right to use digital images of accepted and exhibited art work for media and website PR and advertising.
