DESCRIPTION:International Deadline: June 1, 2015 – The Nesbitt Artis
 t Residency Program in partnership with Bucknell University Department
  of Art and Art History as well as the Samek Art Museum provides time,
  space, and exhibition opportunity to visual artists working in any me
 dia.\nThe Nesbitt Artist Residency consists of housing accommodations,
  meals, a $3,000 stipend, and exclusive use of a studio for four weeks
 . The residency excludes transportation costs. The Nesbitt Fellow is s
 elected from an open call with the one-month residency resulting in a 
 public exhibition at the Samek Connections Gallery. The Nesbitt Fellow
  is selected by our admissions panel, which is comprised of a revolvin
 g group of distinguished professionals in visual arts.  ELIGIBILITY Th
 e Nesbitt Residency Program accepts applications from artists who have
  been working in visual arts professionally for at least five years. T
 he artists are judged primarily on the quality of their work, but also
  on the potential of their practice to translate into a new body of wo
 rk that engages multi-disciplinary approach to art making. The Nesbitt
  Residency Program encourages applications from artists representing t
 he widest possible range of perspectives and demographics. Applicants 
 who are in a degree program as of the date of application are ineligib
 le for a residency and therefore cannot apply. The applicants must be 
 willing to open their studios to public and Bucknell art students for 
 a group visit once a week for no more than two hours.\nThe Nesbitt Res
 idency Program is committed to a policy of nondiscrimination and equal
