 sts from throughout the nation in this competition to celebrate creati
 vity through a variety of mediums.  AWARDS More than $8,500 will be aw
 arded Three $1,000 Awards of Excellence  ELIGIBILITY The competition i
 s open to all artists 18 years or older who are US residents. Each art
 ist may submit images of recent, original, 2D hangable artwork in any 
 medium including photography, fiber, and mixed media. There is no them
 e.  JUROR/JUDGE – Robert Kanyusik Robert Kanyusik has made several n
 otable contributions to the visual arts both in Wisconsin and nationwi
 de. In 1988, Kanyusik co-founded the Northern National Art Competition
 , which for the past 27 years has drawn exceptional entries reflecting
  current trends in the visual arts. He also headed Nicolet College’s
  art department from 1982 to 2013 and created the Nicolet Art Gallery,
  where the competition’s works are displayed.\nKanyusik’s own artw
 ork has been exhibited nationally and internationally and has also rec
