 ning work.\nOpen to works of any media, any genre/style, any size... T
 he winner takes all!\nIn addition to the cash prize and solo feature g
 allery exhibit, the prizewinner will have multiple pages devoted to th
 eir winning work in the season-documenting Manifest Exhibition Annual 
 (MEA) hardcover publication, including artist's statement, bio, and ju
 ry statements.\nFive semi-finalists will have their selected works inc
 luded in the MEA as well.\nThere are no restrictions on submissions to
  The Manifest Prize.  THE CONCEPT All of Manifest's calls for entry ar
 e competitive. The stiffness of the competition has increased in propo
 rtion to Manifest's growing reputation, powerful mission, and internat
 ional reach. Our mission to stand for quality, to create a system wher
 eby works are judged with objectivity as a primary aim, and assembled 
 with as little subjective curatorial agenda as possible has gained the
  respect of thousands of artists from all over the world, and a vast f
 ollowing of arts lovers, patrons, and supporters.\nWe respect the crea
 tive principle of reduction (the jury process) as it is employed to ac
 hieve an essential conclusive statement for each exhibit. This is what
  has led to the high caliber of each Manifest exhibit, and to the gall
 ery's notable reputation.\nWith this principle of reduction in mind, w
 e have been inspired by the intensity of jury after jury to narrow dow
 n a collection of entries to a suitable exhibit. Therefore we have det
 ermined to push the process to the ultimate limit - from among many to
  select ONE work to be exhibited in one of our five galleries* from De
 cember 12 through January 9, 2015. This work will be the recipient of 
 the fifth annual MANIFEST PRIZE, a cash award of $1500 to a single wor
 k selected by our rigorous jury process, and presented in a gallery al
 l to itself as the highlight of the cometitive process, an honor to th
 e artist, and a poignant statement for gallery visitors.  ELIGIBILITY 
 ONE is open to everyone (students and professionals are encouraged to 
 submit). The only limitation is that entries must represent original w
 orks of art or design and be available and capable of being exhibited 
 in one of Manifest's five galleries.  MEDIA Open to any and all tradit
 ional and non-traditional visual arts genre and media, (including vide
 o, photography, sculpture, installation, painting, drawing, etc.). The
 re is no size limit or minimum size required, other than what is capab
 le of being displayed in our gallery space.  JURY & CURATOR Manifest's
  selection process involves a complex two-part system. This exhibit wi
 ll be juried by an anonymous several-member panel of professional and 
 academic advisors.  PUBLICATION Manifest Press will produce a high qua
 lity hard-cover publication documenting this exhibition, artists, and
