 lery announces it's 5th Annual Photobook Traveling Exhibition, an annu
 al competition open to photographers in the United States and abroad w
 ho have self-published a photobook.\nTwenty winning books will be exhi
 bited and for sale at the Davis Orton Gallery, Nov. 16-Dec 21, 2014 an
 d will then travel to Griffin Museum of Photography, Winchester MA.  
 Additional photo books will be selected for exhibition in an online ga
 llery.\nThis competition will be juried by Paula Tognarelli Executive 
 Director and Curator of the Griffin Museum of Photography and Karen Da
 vis, Curator/Co-owner, Davis Orton Gallery.ELIGIBILITYOpen to artists 
 worldwide. Entrants may submit up to three different titles that are s
 elf-published photography books of any size, format, or style: hard co
 ver, soft cover, casewraps, landscape, portrait, square, color, black 
 and white. Submissions will be judged on the basis of: cover design, s
 trength of the photography, subject matter of the book, page layouts, 
 editing and sequencing and emotional impact of the overall book.\nEntr
 ants may submit up to three different titles that are self-published p
 hotography books of any size, format, or style: hard cover, soft cover
 , case-wraps, landscape, portrait, square, color, black and white.\nTh
 ere are growing options available for self-publishing a book such as o
 n-demand (blurb, lulu, viovio, iphoto, etc.); small run offset or web 
 printing/publishing firms, binderies. If they have been hand-made/ bou
 nd, they must be available in multiples of at least 25.JUDGINGSubmissi
 ons will be judged on the basis of: cover design, strength of the phot
 ography, subject matter of the book, page layouts, editing and sequenc
 ing and emotional impact of the overall book. All judging is at the co
 mplete discretion of the gallery and all decisions of the gallery are
