SUMMARY:Pacific Art Experiment
DESCRIPTION:National Deadline: September. 1, 2014 - Pacific University
  is looking for an artist(s) to feature in the Pacific Art Experiment 
 2014-15. The PAE is a hands-on student workshop designed to inspire cr
 eativity and experimentation in the visual arts.\nDuring the week long
  workshop, invited artist(s) will develop a project, and help students
  explore creativity in novel and exciting ways. Projects may be 2D and
 /or 3D, installation, may use traditional or non-traditional materials
 , and may be temporary or permanent.\nSelected artist will receive a $
 1200 stipend, a $200 supply budget, an artist’s talk, and an exhibit
 ion in the Kathrin Cawein Gallery on campus.\nThe event and coinciding
  exhibition will take place in February or March of 2015. Workshops sh
 ould be designed for two groups of 20 students that meet twice a week 
 for two hours and twenty minutes. Various art studios on campus are av
 ailable as well as a small experimental permaculture farm.\nProposals 
 should include a description of the project, how students will be invo
 lved, simple budget, resume, artist’s statement and 15–20 digital
