DESCRIPTION:National Deadline: March 15, 2014 - Sequim Arts, located i
 n Sequim, Washington, is seeking entries for its annual juried art exh
 ibit which is open to all adult artists. The show will be hosted in th
 e Bell Creek Plaza, 990 E. Washington, Sequim and will run from May 2 
 to May 11 2014 and is an official event of the 2014 Sequim Irrigation 
 Festival.\nAll work must be original in interpretation and composition
 , not copied from copy-right or published art or executed in a supervi
 sed class and be for sale. Two-dimensional and three dimensional art s
 uch as, but not limited to oil, acrylic, water media, mixed media, ori
 ginal prints, collage, pastel, fine art photography, digital art, draw
 ing, assemblage, sculpture (any medium), basketry, ceramics, glass, je
 welry, and textiles.AWARDSCash totaling over $1,500 will be awarded.JU
 RORThis year's Juror will be Suzy Kueckelhan of Bainbridge Island. Aft
 er receiving her art degree from the University of Washington, she tau
 ght art in the Seattle Public schools, and has continued to develop he
 r career in fine art. Her work has moved from prints, to oils, water c
 olor, encaustics, acrylics and any other medium that catches her eye. 
 For the last 25 years, she has focused on acrylic and paper collages. 
 About 20 years ago, she was one of the founding members of the artist-
 owned, Net Contents Gallery. She is a Signature Member of both, the Na
 tional Collage Society and the Northwest Water Color Society, Presiden
 t of the Northwest Collage Society, and a member of Woman Painters of 
 Washington. Suzy's work can be found in both private and public collec
 tions throughout the Northwest, in the U.S. (including the Secretary o
 f State building in Washington D.C.) and overseas in Kuwait, France an
