DESCRIPTION:International Deadline: September 30, 2025 – The Siena 
 Art Institute invites professional artists and writers for residencies
  in Siena throughout the year. They pursue independent projects while 
 providing insight and inspiration to our participants. Visiting artist
 s & writers are asked to give a public presentation upon their arrival
  in Siena to introduce themselves & their work to our community. They 
 are also asked to hold formal critique sessions with our students.\r\n
 Visiting Artist candidates are selected from around the world through 
 an invitation-only nomination process. The Siena Art Institute accepts
  direct applications for Summer Residency Program, Studio/Casa Residen
 cy Program, and Studio Residency Program.\r\nSummer ResidencyThe month
 -long Summer Residency Program grants resident artists a studio space 
 at the Siena Art Institute & a private 1-bedroom apartment in the hist
 oric city center of Siena, as well as flight compensation for getting 
 to and from Italy. Summer Resident Artists are provided:\r\n\r\nA priv
 ate studio at the Siena Art Institute for four weeks.\r\nA private 1-b
 edroom apartment in downtown Siena for their month-long stay (one doub
 le bed).\r\nCompensation for flight to and from Italy from country of 
 residence.\r\n\r\nStudio/Casa ResidencyThe Siena Art Institute’s Stu
 dio/Casa Residency Program awards accomplished professional artists & 
 writers a studio at the Siena Art Institute and a 1-bedroom apartment 
 located in the beautiful historic city of Siena, in the heart of Tusca
 ny, Italy.\r\nStudio ResidencyThe Siena Art Institute’s Studio Resid
 ency Program awards accomplished professional artists & writers a stud
 io at the Siena Art Institute Studio Resident Artists are provided:\r\
 n\r\nA private studio at The Siena Art Institute for one month.\r\nA 1
