SUMMARY:A Smith Gallery Call for Entries: Trees
DESCRIPTION:International Deadline: December 8, 2025 – Photographer
 s of all levels are invited to submit work reflecting the theme “tre
 es” to A Smith Gallery Online Exhibition.\r\nPhotographers submittin
 g 13 or more images are entitled to receive a complimentary review by 
 the gallery directors. Up to forty seven images will be selected for e
 xhibition and shown in the online gallery from January 2 to February 1
 2, 2026.\r\nELIGIBILITYThe competition is open to all photographers bo
 th professional and amateur working in all photographic mediums and st
 yles. International entries are welcomed.\r\nJURORGeoffrey Koslov will
  be the juror for “trees”. Geoffrey has a life long involvement in
  photography as lecturer, reviewer, photographer and gallerist. He is 
 the former owner of Koslov Larsen Gallery, an AiPAD member fine art ga
 llery that dealt in contemporary photography-based art. He had served 
 for many years on the Photography Acquisitions Subcommittee for the Mu
 seum of Fine Arts, Houston (MFAH), and the Board of Directors for the

  AND CATALOGUEJurors will be selecting up to 47 images in total. All a
 rtist included in the final selection of images will receive the follo
 wing:\r\n\r\nThe gallery will be featuring each of selected images on 
 both Facebook and Instagram over the span of the exhibition.\r\nGaller
 y Directors will be hosting a GalleryTalk and will discuss all selecte
 d images. The GalleryTalk will be posted in the blog section of the we
 bsite.\r\nThe gallery online store will include all selected images li
 sted for sale.\r\nAn exhibition catalogue including all selected image
 s will be published and available for purchase.\r\nThe online exhibiti
 on as well as the GalleryTalk will be permanently archived after the e
 nd of the exhibition period.\r\n\r\n“THE 27” HARDBOUND EXHIBITION 
 BOOK | 27 images from the total 47 images will be selected for “The 
 27”, a hardbound fine art book of the exhibition. “The 27” will 
 be available for purchase. Both the Juror and Director Award recipient
 s will receive the hardbound exhibition book.\r\nAWARDSThe awards are 
 as follows:\r\n\r\nJurors Award – an online solo exhibition, “The 
 27” exhibition book and feature story on the gallery blog\r\nDirecto
 rs Award – “The 27” exhibition book\r\nVisitors Award (most Inst
 agram likes) – $100\r\n\r\nThe solo exhibition awarded as the Juror�
 ��s Award will be scheduled at a mutually agreed time for the duration

 ed in Johnson City, Texas in the Nugent Avenue Arts District. The gall
 ery exhibits the work of both amateur and professional photographers t
