PhotoSpiva 2015 Call for Entries

National Deadline: January 4, 2015 -  The George A. Spiva Center for the Arts in Joplin, Missouri announces a call for entries for its 39th annual national photographic competition: 'PhotoSpiva 2015'.

Eligibility
Open to all U.S. photographers, amateur and professional.  Any photographic process is eligible as long as the work is original and has not been previously shown at Spiva Center for the Arts. No three-dimensional entries accepted.

Exhibition March 7-May 3, 2015. Founded in 1977, PhotoSpiva has become the longest-running photographic competition of its kind in the U.S.

$3000 Cash Awards

• $1000 first; $750 second
• $500 third
• $150 merit (3)
• $100 honorable mention (3).

Juror
Shannon T. Perich, Curator, Photographic History Collection, Smithsonian National Museum of American History.

Entry Fee
$40 for five photos, extra photos $10 each.
