Tartget Prize International Painting Contest

International Deadline: February 15, 2025 – The first edition of the Tartget Prize has been announced, marking one of the most significant competitions on the international scene. This painting contest bursts onto the scene featuring all the hallmarks of a first-class cultural event: an unparalleled volume of prizes, maximum accessibility for participants, an exceptional and influential jury from five continents, and the spotlight provided by the final exhibition in one of the great art cities, Madrid.

The historic Ateneo de Madrid, just steps from the Prado Museum and the Thyssen Museum, will host the winners’ exhibition, the awards ceremony, and a wide selection of finalists from June 5 to 12, 2025.

PARTICIPANTS
It is open to painters worldwide, welcoming all techniques and styles across various categories. Tartget will award prizes in 10 categories, ranging from figurative art to abstract, including conceptual art. Works from Hyperrealism to Impressionism, Surrealism, and Abstraction are accepted.

BENEFITS & AWARDS
Over $55,000 in cash prizes will be awarded, along with 50 additional prizes in painting supplies, training, and promotion in galleries and specialized media.

• Acquisition Prizes: $1,100, $2,100, $3,200, and $4,300

After the selection of the 200 finalists, another panel of physical jurors will determine the winners.

DEADLINES & ENTRY FEES
The deadline for submitting works is 15 February 2025. Figurative, conceptual, and abstract paintings are accepted, according to categories. The registration fee for the contest is $53 for the first artwork and $32 for each additional artwork or different category. For participants under 25 years old, the registration fee is $37 for the first artwork and $16 for each additional one.
