DESCRIPTION:International Deadline: February 24, 2014 - Highly regarde
 d Torpedo Factory Art Center/Target Gallery presents 'Identification',
  an all-media self-portrait exhibition exploring alternative definitio
 ns of self through the juxtaposition of the artists’ objective and s
 ubjective identities. Artists worldwide are asked to submit a standard
 ized 4x4 photo of themselves to exhibit along side of the artwork.  JU
 ROR Dara Engler is a figurative painter, specializing in self-portrait
 ure. Recent solo exhibitions include the Angela Meleca Gallery in Colu
 mbus, Ohio and the Bry Art Gallery at the University of Louisiana at M
 onroe. She was awarded a Joan Mitchell Foundation MFA Grant in 2007, f
 ollowed by a recipient group show at the Cue Art Foundation in New Yor
 k City. Her work has appeared in New American Paintings and Manifestâ€
 ™s International Drawing Annual. See more.  LIMITATIONS Work should be
  less than 15 feet overall (height + width + length), with no one dime
 nsion measuring more than 7 feet. Final measurements must be inclusive
  of frame, if applicable. Weight may not exceed 150 pounds. All entrie
 s must have been conceived and created by the artist submitting the wo
 rk and must have been created within the last 5 years.\nThe gallery re
 serves the right to reject work that differs from submitted images.  E
 NTRY FEE A non-refundable fee of $35.00 must accompany each entry form
 , and a $10.00 fee for each additional art work submitted.  APPLICATIO
 N - Visit Target Gallery for complete Prospectus.\nSubmissions are by 
 digital image only. A non-refundable $35 entry fee includes submission
  for 3 pieces of artwork.\nEntry can be done in 2 ways, either using o
 ur online form, or via a mailed in or hand delivered CD.  NOTIFICATION
  Whether your piece has been selected by the juror or not, notificatio
 n will be sent to you via email.  GUIDELINES A commission of 40% will 
 be taken on all works sold as a result of this exhibition. Works are i
 nsured while in Target Gallery. Artwork must have been made within the
  last five years.  DELIVERY Artists are responsible for shipping their
  work to the gallery in sturdy, reusable boxes. Return shipping must b
 e prepaid and enclosed with artwork. Artwork not picked up after exhib
