DESCRIPTION:National Deadline: November 3, 2014 - The Valdosta Nationa
 l is South Georgia's premier national all-media art competition. Hoste
 d by the Valdosta State University Fine Arts Gallery, 2015 will be the
  27th year of the annual juried exhibition showcasing the best in cont
 emporary art nation-wide. Exhibition dates: January 20 to February 6, 
 2015.\nJuror Susan Welsh, Executive Director, Macon Museum of Arts and
  Sciences, Macon, GA.\nEligibility and Guidelines Open to all artists 
 over 18 living in the United States. All artwork must have been comple
 ted in the last 2 years (no earlier than 2012,) original (no Giclees o
 r reproductions) and not previously shown in the VSU Fine Arts Gallery
 . Images submitted must accurately represent actual artwork or the art
 work will not be exhibited.\nCatalog A catalog will be mailed to all a
 rtists who enter, after the show is over. Art will be insured while in
  the gallery (not during transit), and will be for sale with no galler
 y sales commission.\nShipping Artists are responsible for shipping cos
 ts to and from the exhibition.\nPresentation & Installation All work m
 ust be professionally presented; 2-D work should be framed with plexi-
 glass, and with a hanging wire. No sawtooth hangers or glass allowed. 
 Paintings may be gallery wrapped (with 1.5 inch edges) without additio
 nal framing. Artwork that is complicated or difficult to install (such
  as an installation) must be installed by artist. There is not a size 
 limitation\nAwards $1,500.00 in awards.\nEntry Fee The entry fee is $3
 5 for 3 different artworks; three-dimensional entries may include up t
