 ition. This juried art competition, featuring works in a wide spectrum
  of styles and materials, explores nature in its many beautiful forms,
  from plant life and landscapes to the diversity of species that inhab
 it the great outdoors.\nLocated in the hub of St. Augustine’s vibran
 t arts district, the St. Augustine Art Association Art Center features
  3500 square feet of premier exhibition space. This year, visitors fro
 m all corners of the globe will descend upon the seaside town, known f
 or its historic charm, to celebrate the 450th Anniversary of its found
 ing. We invite you to be a part of history by participating in this pr
 estigious exhibition,which attracts the nation’s foremost artists co
 mpeting for $5,000 in cash prizes.\nAWARDS\n\n$5,000 in Cash Awards\n$

 LIGIBILITYArtists may enter up to 3 original 2d or 3d pieces created w
 ithin the past 3 years. Entries must be the original work of art, not 
 a giclee or enhanced giclee of the original artwork, nor a limited edi
 tion print (with the exception of photography and original printmaking
 ), nor reproductions or enhanced reproductions of any kind. Works that
  reference hunting or taxidermy will not be eligible. Human elements s
 hall not be present, except on the rare occasion where such imagery en
 hances the nature story.ARTWORK SPECIFICATIONS\n\n2D, 60’ X 60’ ma
 x including frame.\n3D, 5’ X 3’ X 3’ max, freestanding or must f
 it on a pedestal, weighing no more than 50lbs unless pre-approved and 
 installed by the artist\nartwork must be dry & fully assembled upon de
 livery.\naccepted 2d work should be suitably framed and ready for hang
 ing with picture wire\nno sawtooth hangers.\nno non-glare glass.\ngall
 ery wrapped pieces should be at least 2” deep with all edges finishe
 d.\nphotography must be matted and framed, with glass or plexi (if shi
 pped), ready for hanging with picture wire only. Any form of manipulat
 ion that alters the truth of the photographic statement is ineligible.
