Hi Stephen,
gorgeous technique, I'm curious, what medium is it? The equilibrium of the composition is so calm then the wit of that one leg connecting the two figures adds interest and relationship. It's working!!!

Hello Sara, sorry for late reply not been around much, The painting as with most of my work is acrylic on canvas.
The people in the painting were as they are, I took a photo first at the beach then made the work back at my studio.
