"Christopher felt the need to serve his brothern, consequently.being large (some say he stood over 20 ft.tall) he would help travelers, poor and rich alike cross a strong river not far from where he lived. After doing this consistently for years, one day he assisted a boy, whose weight became heavier and heavier! Until Christopher could barely take another step. He looked up to see Jesus on his shoulder! Christopher was understandably shaken! From that day on, Christopher felt as if his good deed to travelers had truly been acknowledged..and continued doing just that until he died years later.
