I was invited by therapeutic recreational therapist at the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System to create a depiction what patients go though when they have been diagnosed with cancer. This was created at the VA Medical center by Cancer patients.They are part of a therapeutic group that gets together once a week to support each other through there journey during cancer treatments. Every person that painted this is a veteran, and none of them had painted before, it was fulfilling to teach them. I painted the people and the veterans did all of the rest. This was as therapeutic for me as it was for them.They did an extraordinary job. It is framed and hanging at the entrance of the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System 10000 Bay Pines Blvd Bay Pines, FL 33744
