Phenomenon (Photography)

The series, 'Phenomenon' features amazing, other-worldly sand shapes that were formed naturally by the changing ocean tides and constant wind, found only for about half a mile along the Oceanside, Oregon beach. The formations shown in this set, about 6" x 6" in size, were taken on two separate days. I have been back on numerous occasions, but have never seen another cone, or any shapes as prominent as those found on Sept. 9th and 10th (2013). Now, late in October, there have been none at all!
Oceanside, OR is about a 2 hour drive from Portland, then about a mile long walk along the beach.
