Reductive Ink Monotypes
These works on paper are monotypes using a reduction process taught by G. Michael Coffee of the Shy Rabbit Gallery in Pagosa Springs, CO. They are unique prints , not in an edition, printed with oil based inks on Arches paper. The textures and colors are pronounced and abstract in theme but with some reference to the natural world.

I have been working on a series of mixed media monotypes that incorporate poetry/letters/text as part of the artwork. This work comes out of my poetry writing, one art leading to the other.
