Images can be as addictive as substances. So, my compulsion to work with the cup image was one of those things. The dichotomy of the "fast food", "drive thru" mentality juxtaposed against the eternal and ever-lasting nature of the Styrofoam cup is ironic to me. The prevalence of the coffee industry masked in this envelope of toxicity has an irony all its own.
