Nice piece. I put on Dave Brubeck's jazz piece "Blue Rondo A La Turk" while I looked at your work.

Curator’s Comments:

Blue Allegro in Horizon (II) has a refined sense of movement, as the linear elements deftly move across and through the intense ultramarine ground.  The more saturated color palette provides a satisfying depth to the non-objective imagery.  I also see a lively interchange of smooth horizontal strokes and a tangle of more curvilinear marks and loose circles as they make their way up the right side of the piece.  This formal exchange nicely harnesses the energy of the alternating brushstrokes as they cross paths.  I also respond well to Interlaced Rhythmic Space.  The strong swimming gestures have an airier presence, as the whitish background opens up the active picture plane. It seems to possess an intuitive balance of densely intricate lines and transparency versus opacity of color. While physical dimensions aren’t indicated, I imagine these paintings functioning particularly well on a large scale.
