Comment by DENNIS A. DEZMAIN on August 13, 2023 at 1:41pm: This has a collage look to the composition with a three dimensional approach to the overall layout. I really like the use of mixed forms that are open and those that are overlayed suggesting a textural consideration. The imaginative approach of the work entitled "Broken Pathways" is very fitting for the painting as the title gives a strong relation to the work. I also enjoyed the colored palette that was chosen as it does not propel itself into a visual vortex, but gently allows the viewer to understand the painting in a relaxing, intelligent mode.
