Thanks Laurel, actually, Carnival is one of my paintings as well! It's interesting, but we can develop favourites off and on, and it usually cycles as new work is created, but this one, I've still got a soft spot for, and it's because of the composition I think;-)  I absolutely love patterns!  And I personally find that the artwork I am attracted to generally relies heavily on them.  It's interesting in that the underlying composition and patterns are what matters to me, because whether it's realism, surrealism or abstract, I'll enjoy it for the patterns if I'm attracted to it!  T;-)

Hi Teresa, You are very imaginative. The two compositions I like the best, of what you've posted so far, both give me a sense of movement and perspective. I love the fresh colors in this one. You and I share a love of patterns.
