i did this piece for a friend who had a large outdoor show of sculpture along the east river in manhattan funded by the city. it was made out of reed, dyed cheesecloth, approximately 24x40 feet when opened with weather balloons attached for lift. the piece was held from flying away by two cables being controlled by two artists on the fortieth floor roof. a really insane endeavor in a crowded city however we were lucky.
