Historic Fishing Village

I love looking at the historic homes in the fishing villages of New England. These beautiful old homes carry such a story of life in an old seaport town. This one was particularly special. It had beautiful perennial gardens everywhere. The gardens and stone walkways were placed with great thought and nurtured lovingly. This house overlooked the water and the boats at dock in the harbor. I'm always drawn back to this place and I imagine the family who lived here, waiting for their fisherman to return home.
