Easter Egg

Easter Egg is part of a collection that uses vintage schismatics from vintage transistor radios and other automobile engines pre-1968. The artwork could model how we have become bits and bytes connected through our social media accounts. Our society has been trending toward being more isolated from social intercourse. We visit family through our device of choice using apps like Facetime and Zoom. We communicate in real-time through chat apps. The immense public pressure of social media has replaced the social pressures of "fitting in" in real life. Our connection is made electronically or through the ethos of wifi and Bluetooth.
