Curator's Comment:
You have an eclectic and impressive range range of styles and media represented on this site. I was drawn to this particular depiction of the sheep because of the unexpected handling of blue green color on the edges of the animal. It communictaes a primal energy, or life force in the state of flux. I'm wondering if by chance the title of the painting makes reference to the first cloned sheep. The small strip of blue across the otherwise still horizon helps to keep attention on the subject, and imparts a palpable isolation.
