A dense forest where only a small portion of sunlight is visiable. The leaves, figs, trees are gathered in a close knit gathering.

Forest of Thought is an excellent title for this densely configured, lush green painting.  The verdant chartreuse and contrasting deep green foliage provides a luxuriant, rolling ground for ideas and imagination. The curvilinear waves imply a surging or heaving movement not unlike the waves of a large, turbulent body of water.  This primal biomorphic abstraction gives way to revelations of the deepest imagined recesses of the landscape. While your caption references trees and figs, I don’t see these specifically articulated shapes; but the idea that sunlight is largely filtered through the almost impenetrable forest comes through beautifully.  In part this is because the work also seems to be a slice of a larger whole, calling to mind micro/macro cosmic relationships.  In viewing the other drawings and paintings in your portfolio on the site, I confess to preferring the pieces that form similar allover patterns rather than more the more directly representational subject matter. The achromatic Generations Web for instance is a highly nuanced drawing that pulls me in for closer scrutiny.
