Funky Monkey

"Funky Monkey" - A dancer doin' the "Funky Monkey". It started with the background. I came across this black paper tapestry in a flea market, and instantly was drawn to it. From the background, the piece sprang to life with the African figure leaping in time to distant drums. I love to peruse flea markets, resale shops, hardware stores and the like. This is where I get a lot of my ideas for my mixed media work.
